Jumping Someone Else's WTF.

This clip has been making the blog rounds in the past few days, so I present it to you as well. Who am I to buck a trend?

Anyway, here it is without comment, because it's better that way...

Bollywood Monday: Barak Obollywood.

This video is a lot like a platypus -- there's no good reason for it to exist, and yet it does. Here's an utterly batshit insane Bollywood mashup video starring Barak Obama. (Why? Because it's the internet, silly!)

Jukebox Friday: Euro Wave.

Today's subject -- early '80s European New Wave! Pay attention, because it'll be on the quiz...

From France, Les Rita Mitsouko with "Marcia Baila":

From West Germany, Joachim Witt exhibiting his mad Defender skills on "Herbergsvater":

Also from West Germany, it's George Kranz performing "Din Da Da":

Of course, this post wouldn't be complete without Trio's "Da Da Da" (so well known for all its TV ad appearances):

Home Shopping.... of the Future!!!

Check out how cool this is! In the far distant future year of 1999 we'll all be able to go shopping without leaving home! We'll be able to see pictures of our items on a highly technological screen, send in our money by scientific magic, and then get our items sent directly to us! All without getting off our asses! Maybe they should give this invention a catchy name, like "internet" or something....

(Now, if only there was a way to make these home video consoles show cheesy old film clips on demand. Hmmm....)

Bump 'n' Bash With the Muppets.

So, how do you like your Muppets mash-up videos? Do you want to groove all night on the dancefloor...

...or bang your head into death metal oblivion?

You decide -- polls are still open!

Bollywood Monday: Touch Me.

And by "Touch Me," I don't mean The Doors, or Samantha Fox, or even "Rocky Horror." Nope, in this case it's once again the luscious Aishwarya Rai dancing with Hrithik Roshan on "Touch Me" from the 2006 film "Dhoom 2":

(For the record, the playback singers are Kay Kay and Alisha Chinoi.)
